Seems i have forgotten to write in the old blog here over the last month or so >.>

forgive me. Had alot of disturbing RL things to do. part of which involved me being sick. And work.

Mostly the sick thing. I'm over that and slowly starting to get myself better and back into the swing of life again. Regular updates coming soon ... since I'm learning to use my wacom >:)

So tonight I got hit in the head with a folder..of a nifty green groupy gift... from Dilly Dolls!

Seems Oriana has been busy as a squirrel prepping for winter! And remade and redid an old dress called Emilie and made it newer and more smexier! She's been honing her skills in the arts of sculpting and texturing sculpts ALOT! [usually I'm pestering her in the process XD]

So ya check this out..I'm not usually a fan of green but this is kinda cutsey sexy ... mm I'm gonna be late for school! Who cares, Imma rebel ! [and before she has a shit fit..it's MINT MINT MINT!! not freakin green >.<] ... looks green to me XD

SO... fuck I hate technology. Took hours and hours of work, and i think my computer is finally working right. Trying over the next few days to get my stuff backed up that I want to keep. And working on a back up hard drive so this shit doesn't happen again. While I try to get things in order here.. and here... AND while I try to get ready something a little special for some upcoming things.

mwahahahaha

I got the jinx I tell you

So I didn't post for the longest time. I have basically had the time from hell.

For anyone that knows, I went on vacation in RL... come back and work was shitty, hours got cut, business is down so people get sent home early and that means loss of money.. which means loss of income on SL as well.

Add into this my real computer is kaput and I am on a laptop which can handle all of like half hour or so on sl before it starts to overheat..well there went remaking ads for halloween until this gets fixed..again more lost income....

The market I poured hours into building, many many hours. And hours upon hours of writing up ads and playing in and out of groups with mods trying to advertise and teasing people in. Setting up in other markets to try to draw in business, start auctions and running ragged to other auctions to try to sell my bunnies and nests. More lsot income, or rather running in circles to try to avoid the inevitable...

In the end, today I started packing my bunnies. I did my sale bunnies first. Then most of my mutants. I have a few bunnies left out who are breeding. And when they give up a nest I will see if its worth attempting to bother to sell... and have a friend take it to auction for me since I can't go. [again, crappy laptop]. And then those bunnies too will go into the hibernation pile... in a folder, safe in my inventory because should I ever have money or the bunny market starts to revitalize a bit, I will be back.

In the process... I am opening up prims and the people who live with me, and their bunnies, will still have a space. And I might open up a bit to a few other private rentals. But for the most part, probably not too many. I will start construction on the halloween town I build every year and get no visitors to. I will build up my heart with halloween deco again. With luck I can get my black and orange harlequins out for halloween.

At this point I think I would settle for things to just go my way for once. Odd.. I don't usually get seasonal depression this time of year... too much piling on at once. Just waiting for the breakdown to crack again.

Vacation, RL and trying to decide what to do with my bunnies. All things that impact my ability to think and write. Plus I'm a lazy bitch.

So it seems a blog I loved to follow is closing, The Chicken Diaries as read there, is closing it's blogging doors. Sad yes, they were my one huge source for all things breedable in SL. Kudos and thank you to the writers for all that they did. Even so far as to get my tushie inspired to breed my pets. Try out things like chickens [didn't last long] and well, watch my friends with turtles and cactuses.

They gave me a bit of a smile when I would see new posts and get to grab info on the latest and greatest [or lamest] breedables out there in SL. It gave me a chance to check out the variety of pets one can own. And sometimes gave me a giggle with their own sense of humors. Given the RL situations they have going on, I would have made the same decisions. And in fact they are better then me for sticking things out for so long. And I can only wish them the best in their life and hope things go for the sunshinier way for them. Granted I never knew them personally, but you feel like you knew them through the blog. Best of luck and life to them. Baxt.

On to a not so funny side of things. [or maybe hysterical..I'm not sure, caffeine isn't working yet]

I spend alot of times perusing the ozimals forums. Mostly from boredom while waiting for bunnies to breed. Or to try to put myself to sleep through bouts of insomnia.

I decided after seeing people bitch and gripe that I should post. But first I had to make my own game plan. A few weeks back i decided what I wanted. Mutant siblings who will give mutants. [Hopefully] So I started hibernating sibling pairs, and putting their mutant offspring on level one pet food. Which means no breeding! So no more gens lost and no weird nests that are kinda off the wall.

This will also save me tons of money. As I am no longer feeding non mutants. I kept out about 15 breeding pairs. Mostly to weedle them down in gens. As they all have about 7 or so gens left. As each pair hits elder I wil unhibernate one set of sibs from inventory.

Seems like a game plan. And it actually is working. I put up my non mutant siblings for sale. Sold a few to recoup what I spent at auction [yes I am still buying a bunny or two outside my own now and again for flavor! ] and my plan was working. Awesome. Now to post... which I did and you can read here..

Was a great write up I think. One of my better ones. Now what do I do.. I plan an auction..and wait for a few more nests. All the while RL tries to yank me away. School is starting soon [not for me, I'm too old XD] but that and work... and bunnies. Always bunnies. And fashions! I am going to start selling jewelry again. Yay me !

Updates

Yes yes things are slow for me in the Sl world.

Ozimals got another update.

Oriana was poking me in the ear to help her toy with projects for hunts.

And I did get involved in a hunt a little bit for hunting free cool things and finding neat new shops.

Mostly I have been sick [had the flu for a week] and working [need RL moneys] and prepping for my vacation next week \o/

Ok so today i decided to show off ALL my mutant babies! This is Doc and beastmaster...Sister mutants.

That would be all 7 of my babies! I am considering putting them all on level one food just so I can keep them as pets only. [no sense in breeding non siblings now eh XD]

Cooties and Blur

As I sit here this morning hugging a bowl of chicken noodle soup [yes I am still not 100% feeling so well] and cursing a possible broken toe... I decided to dig through my inventory and see what I got lately. Reading over notecards I remembered I went to the Blur exhibit the other day. Now in both real life and Sl I LOVE art exhibits. Especially in SL since it's easier to shop and buy cool new stuff. Plus it always amazes me at the things you see people building in SL.

Blur is a colab art exhibit and theres something from everyone's fave designers. Allegory Malaprop is there[From Schaudenfreude] , Bryn Oh[ from Black swan fame], Apatia Hammer, Miel Nirvana Radio Signals and Sanura Sakai both from the Scribble sim... and a ton more.

Now Blur isn't one of these charities set up. It's an art exhibit with freebies and for sale items set out by the designers. It's very well built and worth the hour or two you will take to walk around. Sit on everything. TRY everything.

I decided to suit up and brave the crazy world of Blur to bring the readers some pictures! Here you see me in my unitard [which I bought the first time I went, it's from Scribble..there's two colors, white and blue.The name of it is Her Ghost.I'm wearing blue. And the unitards are 150L each.. there's a dress too but I feel more at home in a one piece!] Also this outfit is fairly low arc, no scripts and pretty! [And my signature boots of course!]

So be mindful when you land that you receive a notecard... it asks you to turn you turn up your draw distance and particles..trust me, it's wort it. And if you were smart and went low lag like I did then you won't have any issues walking around. Well except when I landed there was this odd skully fellow who asked me to check his teeth...

I had to hang on for my life! Course then he swallowed me and I got to see what was on his mind... it was rather enlightening.

Slipping off while The Skull tried to eat someone else, I managed to come to a odd road.. with deer bunnies crossing!

I had to run away, they were huge and I was a bit startled by the appearance of something so huge compared to the little bunnies I have at home. Or were they bunnies at all? They went by rater quickly for me, and when I looked back tey were kinda there? Then I run into this...

An angel of all things? Or is it? maybe, I think I see wings... there against the road.. in the fog? I think I need to go lay down... oh how convenient.. sitting in a chair I can see visions of my bed, all soft and fluffy...

I should spend less time in the chair in the living room, it's starting to feel a bit uncomfortable... more like.. a forest? How did I end up here? Well at least the tree is comfortable to curl up in...
Or not... another nightmare? Or a day mare... I can never tell, they come and then they go so quickly you can hardley remember what they were
So I slip off to drink away my bad dreams and rough nights nappings, hopefully to sleep just a bit better then I had wherever it was I had just been asleep.
Ah and now second life never fails to hit me with something that isn't a blur..region restart. So Iwave my good bye to the foggy dreams and nightmares of the Blur exhibit. And will probably go back before it's all over to play some more.

Yes another mutant.. this makes..5? yes 5... the funny thing is I broke my truce by saying I would name all my mutants after 80s movies or characters. This is ..well let me introduce Zero!

He is a harlequin black and orange, half lop , dark grey eyes, classic fur. his parents are Jack and Sally. Two harlequin black and orange, lop ears classics. His upright ear is a holland lop fawn. Now after hearing his parents names you can guess why I named him Zero. if you can't then you suck!!

Them boots

Ok so , some time ago i was running around in my carnie gear, and I had JUST gotten a wild ass set of boots from the black and blue fair from one of my fave Designers. Oriana Kuhr. Yup, the same chick who owns Dilly Dolls. She had two sets of boots called Danielle at the black and blue fair that I completely flipped over, a black set and a white set. I commented how she should put textures on them... she went afk a few then dropped my new forever boots on me.

I love these, complete carnie style in the circusy stripes, with some splashes of blood thrown in. And then the cute ass skullies [you get them in the normal version too] The whole boot is hawtness. From teh skullies to the bows to the zippers on the back!

Something else with these boots, even though she uses invisiprims... they aren't all gawky and totally there in the way like alot of other shoes I see. It's no secret I like her clothing but I LOVE these boots. I wear them with almost everything lately and I don't think i have changed them in a while except to try on some heels . The upside to these too is they are LOW prim!! I think 14 or 15 prims per boot? So if youw ant a low arc wear for an outfit, these are it!
I would so totally own a set of these in RL. She still has the normal colors for sale at her main store. Somehow I manage to get ALOT of compliments on these boots. I keep telling her to finish them and sell em and make some money ..she would make more from these then pole dancing. And it's less greasy to make boots! On with the info!

Ok so a few of you are going ..wth??

I am completely into Ozimals bunnies in second life... I raise them and breed them yes. Well I have been patient, raising sibling pairs, opening nests and waiting waiting waiting waiting...

Today it paid off. I got my first Mutant that I bred from my own bunnies. Not one I bought, not one I was gifted. I raised the parents from siblings and yes I have my own mutant! She is a chocolate dutch, half lop, silky. Her white ear there is her mutation. It should be brown..but I am so glad it's white..it's so cute!!

That's all, had to share my joy joy with everyone ^.^

Lazy rainy day to pimp like I am a fashion blog!

Yippee for rain! it rained pretty much all day here, so I of course got to stay at work all day and make money! Now that I'm home I am feeling mighty lazy, almost too lazy to do anything productive. So instead of finishing my texture cleaning out...I decided to go through a few things in my objects folder. New shit... boy what I found! I am in a group in world called Cupcakes. it's a skin group... and some cool clothing, but more so the skins. Let me say that if you join one group... this is it. 250L and between the sales and gifts, you are well spoiled.

Recently MIRO set out a group gift..not only was it skin, but clothes too. I cheated, I am wearing one of the skins and the bandeau top. She did two colors, blue and bronze. So i wore the blue skin with the bronze top. I am loving the make ups she has up recently. The fancy eye make up *grins* I also love the fact she doesn't over do lip makeup so i can wear lip piercings with her skins and not lose everything..plus I'm an eye make up person in RL anyway :P

This version of Dahlia doesn't have cleavage, but she's been adding hat to ALOT of her skins... wow... even I wanna stare at my chest. i'll have to pimp some of her cleavage skins later. XD

So yeah go spend your money there. She's always having some kind of sale, new release, or giveaway... cupcakes.. time for my sugar OD.

ook so it's no secret, I have an SL kid. I really don't like kids... but for some reason she grew on me from the day I met her and she agreed to be my roleplay daughter. Even since I have stopped roleplaying she still shows up and makes me smile, and manages to drag me into some sort of adventure, even if it's watching her and my niece take shots at my brother who goes AFK an aweful lot.

But wait this post should be all about Chibi-Nellas! The light of my life, the apple of my eyes, the beat of my heart, the fear in my enemies, the large credit card bill from paying for damages....

*laughs* joking. She is one of the few reason I log into Sl everyday. I mean for the fact she's a friend and someone I can talk to and relate to. her tastes in music and television are... odd at best. But somehow we still have fun. just keep her off of youtube. She is terrible at shopping... but if I drag her out for weapons, new magic hud or something that reminds her of home, she's usually for it. that and hot cakes.

Her ego is rivalled only by her size...... and imagination and whoever she can con into following her around as the god king Nellas! Who comes for all your candies! And is the bestest in the worlds! And is super special with her leutentant Mister Fwuzzeh! And is to be feared ..Rar! So Surrender now everyone and ow to your god king!

The funny thing is.... when we roleplayed alot more... she had an entire sim of Roleplayers go along with this... and had we not known better, and had it been real and not play..she would have thought she really had an army of medieval idiots at her disposal, everyone from nights, to demons, to outlaws bowing at her feet when she walked by. From fear or from respect...

So you know... she gets her awesomeness from me!

RANT BELOW!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Now let me touch base on this topic... kids in second life. As I was directed to a LOOONG thread in the SL forums about idiots who hate kid avis and why they will be the end of life as we know it because they breed pedophiles or some such bullshit... blah blah blah mindless drivel and twisted facts and shit that was over years ago.

This is my opinion. I LIKE kids in second life. They are a fun way to break the monotony of things and in roleplay they can even enhance things. make it a little more fun and realistic. And less serious. BUT If you are gonna play a kid... really, play a kid. Don't act like some unintelligent moron who talks in drivel nonsense changing letters to Ws and shouting everything and wearing BLING and short trampy dresses with no underwear or a thong, you don't wear make up and males.. no facial hair! That's fucking creepy ok. Quit the damned gesturebating! Gestures are not how you talk in RL! Course if you are a gesturebater then odds are your parents are idiots who can't type out the word 'you' so there we have it. kids ALSO do not go to clubs. Who the fuck..in real life do you let your real kids go to a club? No... then why is an SL kid different? I throw that in with the trash who runs around pregnant and smoking and doing drugs in RL. Overall I am HUGELY tolerant of alot in second life and in my real life. I don't tell other people how to act or behave... in SL I am fortunate enough to have a mute button.

Ignorance and stupidity only breeds more of it. That's kind of on both sides.

And sadly.. people complain about the bad examples because that's all they see... BAD!! My kid is one of the good ones...well.. good as far as how she carries herself...

I live my second life like I live my real life..how I want.

Simple things, cherry tomatoes, and pregnant clowns

I realized today there are many simple things in life people take for granted. Eating tomatoes warm and fresh from the garden [usually still standing in said garden and downing as many cherry tomatoes as you can while no one else is home then sniggering away when they complain they aren't getting much of a crop this year] XD

Having breakfast or dinner at home with someone, watching a movie then napping or slacking to your hearts content, because well, you CAN!
